If you’ve landed on this page, it probably means we had a great connection during our consultation.
At Maven + The Maker we don’t work with just anyone — and that’s intentional.
Renovating a home is a journey we take together. It takes trust, honesty, and a shared vision. We give everything to the projects we take on, so it’s important that we feel like the right fit for each other.
The best renovations happen when the people involved genuinely enjoy the process together.
And if you’re here, chances are I think this could be one of those projects.
The next step is moving into the design proposal
I will now begin preparing a proposal outlining the key areas of focus, along with an initial design direction and the investment
required to move forward.
It’s a simple, clear next step — so you know exactly what’s involved before we begin the design phase.
This will take less than one week to land in your inbox.
Let me be completely transparent here.
Of course, our hope is that we’ll continue working together through the renovation.
It keeps my very talented husband creating, our trades busy working, and allows us to see the design carried through exactly as intended.
Because of that, we keep our
design fees intentionally low.
The goal is to properly resolve your renovation and give you a clear plan moving forward, with clear documentation so nothing is missed.
It also means you have the flexibility to take the design and obtain other quotes if you wish.
Our belief is simple, if we do a great job with the design, most clients naturally choose to continue the journey with us.
The next step after the proposal is moving into the design phase.
This is where we take everything we discussed during your consultation and the Client discovery form, with that I begin shaping it into a clear plan, exploring layout ideas, joinery concepts, and the overall direction for your renovation.
Designing things properly before construction begins helps avoid expensive changes later and ensures the finished result feels thoughtful and cohesive.
This will take between 2-4 weeks to land in your inbox.
Once you’ve had time to review your design, we’ll meet to go through any adjustments and refine the details.
We will look more closely at finishes and materials together.
This appointment can take place in your home, or in our Burleigh studio — which often works well as we have access to a wider range of samples and a dedicated space to review everything together.
Once your design has been finalised, we will prepare a detailed construction quote based on the agreed plans and scope of works.
This quote is developed from a fully considered design, which means everything has been thought through in advance — helping to reduce unexpected costs and delays during construction.
You’re absolutely welcome to share the documentation with other builders for comparison, and we’re always happy to answer any questions or clarify details along the way.
Thank you for considering us for your project.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch — we look forward to working with you.
Eulanda + Trent Ryan.
